Thursday 28th May was a great athletics day for RaLET. 38 children from 3rd to 6th class made their way to Morton Stadium in Santry to compete in the Cumann Na Mbunscol Athletics Relay and Sprinting events. It was a lovely sunny day and a great atmosphere with scholld from all over Dublin. Every single child who represented our school can be very proud of themselves. The effort, team work and behaviour was exemplary. Everyone ran very well and there were lots of 3rd places in the heats – unfortunately only the first 2 places got through to the finals. The Under 12 boys relay team got themselves into the finals and came home with very well deserved bronze medals.
It was a pleasure to coach and accompany the team to Santry. A big well done to everyone.
