We celebrated the one hundred year anniversary of the Easter 1916 Rising on Tuesday 15th March. Some of the children from the school read the original Proclamation and some others read our own modern Proclamation, which the whole school had contributed to. Lots of parents came to see us raise the Irish flag at 12 noon, along with all other primary and secondary schools in Ireland. It was a very special occasion and we were delighted to welcome some very special visitors from the Lusk Community Unit.
